The problem
In a competency-based system, we don't really care how long it took someone to figure something out. We want to know whether they understand it now.
But how do I keep generating new assessments that measure the same learning target?
I can't just give the same test three or four times. Eventually a kid might master the questions without mastering the actual idea.
I think AI has got to be able to help with this one.

Somebody out there has figured this one out — or at least tried something worth hearing about. It could be you.
